[dba-Tech] WinXP Compress File Limitation

Does anyone know if there is a file size limit when using Windows XP's file
compression utility?  I have been trying to compress a 4GB SS2K backup file
with a password and it is only able to compress what appears to be a portion
of the file.  When I extract the file and the try to restore to another
machine, the database files are corrupted.
