LOL.  Ya shoulda got the emachines m6805.  I sure love mine.  And at 1500 -
$250 rebate +$250 extended service plan...

I'm quite sure you'll enjoy that machine though, it's a good one.  That's
the one I was looking at before I got the EMachines.

Well, I did it.  Got the box described below.  I went for Fry's service
plan, too.  I never get service plans on any computer or appliance but I've
heard so many stories about portables for some reason I felt like I should -
$250 for three years.  Karma says my insurance will prevent any and all
hardware problems.

Plugged it in and it connected to my network over the wireless right away.

Lots of fun stuff to do now - Zone Alarm, Pop Up Stopper, test the email,
load Office.  Sounds like a late night. :))))
