I batchfile rename all the time - I take hundreds of photos. After experimenting with several, the one I like the best, so much that I paid the shareware fee, is Better File Rename: http://www.publicspace.net/windows/BetterFileRename/ -- Kathryn Rhinehart Bassett (Pasadena CA) "Genealogy is my bag" "GH is my soap" kathryn at bassett.net http://bassett.net > -----Original Message----- > From: dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com > [mailto:dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of Tesiny, Ed > Sent: 26 Jun 2004 8:05 am > To: dba-tech at databaseadvisors.com > Subject: [dba-Tech] Renaming files in Windows Explorer > > Hi All, > I have a bunch of folders with picture files from my digital > camera.
