No-one seems to have mentioned Maxthon. Used to be called MyIE2.
But once you've used mouse gestures you need them, and they're not nearly as

My vote is Pegasus Mail (http://www.pmail.com) for e-mail

Crimson Editor - Text Editor - http://www.crimsoneditor.com/
Programmer's Notepad - Text Editor - http://www.pnotepad.org/
Putty - SSH and Telnet Client -
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/
#develop - .Net IDE - http://www.icsharpcode.net/
Gimp - Photoshop Replacement - http://www.gimp.org/
iTunes - MP3 Player - http://www.apple.com/itunes/

This is just what comes to mind readily.

http://www.pricelessware.org/ for a whole host of other stuff.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well
preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,
shouting "What a great ride!"
