As for #2, I just saw on a MS blog where you can make it so that a USB drive
cannot be written to (only read) in XP SP2.

1) Stinger from N.A. does only scan some popular virusses not all!!!

2) There is a downside on using a memory stick...
It can be written, a CD not.
Meaning, in a unfortuanele situation you could propagate the virus by the
memory stick....
