Well, kinda. There's a repair offered first which takes you to the dos prompt. That wouldn't take my password. I t6hen rebooted and the second time told it to do an install. It then came to a screen where the options were repair or clean install, where I chose repair. It did a bunch of deletes of existing files, then started doing what looked like an install, took 3 hours. In the end I had all my programs and stuff but the disk now worked. John W.
