Hi Jon, You can burn from WMP. Last time I did that they had crippled the burn speed to being very slow but it worked. That's what I have my in-laws using yet because its easier than having them try to learn the faster CD burning software on their PC. I haven't really checked out the latest version of WMP much so a lot of what I know is based on old info. I use MusicMatch Jukebox (which I paid for the eternal subscription so I get all the upgrades). It's a bit easier to use, has more features and is more powerful than WMP. But you get what you pay for. I started out using WMP and the nice thing is they can both use the same folder file structure although they have separate databases for their "libraries". MMJ also can rename the files directly so that when I edit the database info and can change that right there. I've got lots of cd's ripped on my hard drive (legally) and because some of them are by "various artists" they're stored in a "Various Artists" folder on the hard drive, making it a pain to select the tracks I want to put on the cds... Ideally I'd like to be able to burn mp3 cd's straight from WMP, but I don't know if I can do that either... Is there anything out there that can do this for me? on The information in this e-mail is confidential and may also be legally privileged.
