The LC18 has a 7" touchscreen, which I though would be useful for when the remote gets misplaced, which they normally do with 2 little girls running around the house :) I like to have controls on the face of the component instead of just a remote (even if I can use a keyboard and mouse). I have a 13" TV that is all but useless because I can't program it from the front of the TV, since I don't have the remote for it. If I really want the PVR then I may just go with the less expensive one. -- Bryan Carbonnell - carbonnb at gmail.com Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "What a great ride!"
