[dba-Tech] Access/Oracle

You can link Oracle tables but you can also access with ADO.
I'm not an Oracle specialist but for one customer I'm dooing this for
several years now.

You need to install, using the Oracle installer, a softwareaddition to
the Orcale client thats is called Office OLE something support. That way
you can use ODBC connections and link a table. I'm not really sure is
this is sufficiant but I believe so.
The use of ADO from VBA is by default supported, but I believe from
Orcale 8 or 9 on.


Ofcourse your Oracle client must already be instaleld and properly
configures (TNS).
