[dba-Tech] Windows Defender

IIRC, Defender is not a firewall, it is an anti-spam/malware/your fav name
here program.  And since no one product can catch it all, I'd say yes.
Especially if you are not running other anti-spyware stuff.

I am being told that a new version of Windows Defender is available for 
download.  Any opinions on this?

I'm  running AVG which I think doubles as a firewall.  So I'm wondering 
if I need this 'defense'.
