[dba-Tech] FW: AN Old Dog of a Machine

You know surprisingly, this old box isn't running too badly with W2K
installed.  It's stripped down bare, of course, very little start up stuff
and minimum services, etc.  I got it on my wireless network.  Browsing is
pretty snappy. 

I still have to install Office.  We'll see how Word runs.

I tried to open a couple of the bottom panels to see if I could see a memory
module.  But I decided to pass after one panel.  It's not my box.  I don't
want to screw up something.  If he wants to put in some memory, GK found me
a site with some $20 128mb module.  If he's got the original documentation
that can show me how to install it...

It's pro bono for a friend.  I don't want no trouble.

I see it's a NOTEBOOK computer....Thought it was a desktop....My mistake.
Not a Rambus system then.
