Thanks John, that looks great! I probably should have mentioned that we're
running Exchange 5.5... Oh well, we're supposed to be getting Exchange 2003
this year, so not long to wait.

Subject: [dba-Tech] Blocking read receipts in Outlook 2000

Hi all

I've been asked to find out why the options to allow or block sending read
receipts from Outlook 2000 are greyed out, and if it's possible to force
Outlook to block them.

It's bad for business if customers see that we've read an email, and then
don't reply to it for 2 days, so what we'd like to do is deny all requests
for read receipts. I just can't find how to do it, even after looking on
Slipstick and Google...

Does anyone have any ideas or experience with this?
