Tina,

I THINK I want to give it away. I purchased a new AMD quad core
 processor.
I only have two motherboards that use the AMD AM2 cores to start with
 so
this chip is currently sitting there. Even if I purchase a new
 motherboard
I would almost certainly move to another CPU. For my use I need all
 the
cores I can get - lots of server type of stuff, so I would probably go
 with
a quad Intel or maaaaybe a dual socket server motherboard.

However I was having an issue with the machine with the new quad core
"locking up". It does appears to have gone away however, I was also
 playing
with memory and stuff and since resetting my bios to the defaults it is
 not
locking up any more. So... I want to wait a week or two and if the
motherboard does not lock up any more then yea, it is available. I'll
 let
you know.

Are you sure you want to give that away? If so, and if no one else has
already spoken for it, I would be delighted to have it.
