OK. I tried that. I didn't explain what I was after very well. I want to
keep just the open note on top of whatever section I'm working, not the
Notes section. Sorry about that. But thank you and feel free to try again!

Hi Charlotte,

I'm using Outlook 2003.  In the lower left corner of my screen is a menu
that shows Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, and Notes.  If I right-click on
the Notes button, I get the option to 'Open in New Window'.
