Given the date of said quotation, I wonder about its application to
contemporary boxes. In my crowd, I'm one of the most impoverished, with a
mere 2GB aboard. According to this rule, that makes a 5GB file. I know guys
with 8GB aboard.

Not that I'm disputing the validity of the measure; just wondering
