[dba-Tech] Setting timeout of remote desktop

Hi John,

With a client I have, the timeout (10 minutes?) will force me to log back in
with a user name and password, but that is a momentary event.

Perhaps the issue is really the reconnection time.

By the way, my company is A, their parent is B, B contracts with C for VPN
services, who uses D for the VPN software, which I have on my PC.  We did
have a problem related to namespace for the VPN software (Aventail), which
took over a month for D to get resolved.  But it's good now.

Does anyone know how to set the timeout for remote desktop?  One of my
clients has me timing out in about 5 minutes of inactivity which is causing
a LOT of issues (it takes a LOOOONG time to reconnect).  I go away to check
an email or answer a phone call and I am disconnected.  8-(
