Yeah, it's expensive to buy the current top end equipment. If you can live
with yesterdays - or last weeks' or last months high end stuff you can save
a lot of money. I usually look for the "sweet spot" on the price list where
my minimum acceptable level of performance meets my maximum acceptable level
of cost. and then maybe go one step up or down from there depending on how
big the steps are ;-)  Needing high end stuff for proper game play will cost
you though.
