[dba-Tech] Model-View-Controller

Does anyone have a short (and good) explanation of MVC coding?

I've read several articles on it and it still doesn't make any sense to me.

I know Ruby0on-Rails projects use MVC and so do several PHP
frameworks, but I'm still at a loss of the difference between the
Model and Controller.

I get the view portion, that's the UI parts.

Help. Please?
