Double click the icon. A properties dialog should open. Click the General tab. Click Properties. A DIFFERENT dialog should appear. Click the General Tab. There is a check box at the bottom of this dialog called "show icon in notification area when connected." Uncheck that. This will prevent the icon from being normally displayed in the tool tray. (WXP) Reg hacks are acceptable. Seems once its turned on it won't turn off. One can off course choose to always hide it but that's not really solution as when the system tray open arrow is clicked t is once again revealed! It would seem that a check box should indicate that once its checked its always checked - OK getting a bit facetious now... _______________________________________________ dba-Tech mailing list dba-Tech at databaseadvisors.com http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/dba-tech Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com
