[dba-Tech] Word select text issue

That's weird, I've always had the opposite problem... for me, it never turns off! If you double click on the word, it'll select the whole thing, if you click again quickly, it'll select the whole sentence. That's quite useful sometimes...

Supposedly, Word automatically selects an entire word when you try to select text. I know where the option is-- When Selecting, Automatically  Select Entire Word -- I know how to enable/disable it. What I can't do is get it to actually work. The option is selected, but when I drag to select, I only select what I actually highlight. Isn't Word supposed to automatically select the entire word when that option is selected? Maybe I'm doing it wrong?
