[dba-Tech] InfoPath

I know the basics of InfoPath, but here's a few questions: 

1.) Does InfoPath do any processing on its own? For instance, can I tell it to add two values or something simple like that? 
2.) If I export data to an Excel spreadsheet, is there anyway to then import the result of evaluations based on the data I just exported? 

I'm wondering if there's any way to track/tally info right there on the InfoPath form for users to see.
