Acronis is great. There is also VCOM (cheaper), sometimes works great but also had horror stories with it. I also must say that Acronis sometimes refuses to resize a partition with a bad block, it's a company policy not to resize when bad blocks. I then use VCOM because VCOM does not care about bad blocks. Which is not good, but it does the trick. Same comment on Powerquest/Symantec. I cant use Symantec (v8) on a lot of computers because half of de cd drives are not supported. Is probably a simple driver thing but in the meanwhile it caused a lot of grieve. But Acronis is the best and most expensive. But really love them. I did had some XP boot probs with Acronis (and even worse with vcom). In case of Acronis a simple bootrepair was sufficient. Does anyone know a reliable partition manager that can handle 250G HDs, multiple partitions &c?
