A site I like to read when selecting software is www.toptenreviews.com. Acronis True Image is at the top of their list (and not the most expensive). http://disk-imaging-software-review.toptenreviews.com/ Dan -----Original Message----- From: dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of Helmut Kotsch Sent: Monday, February 11, 2008 3:49 AM To: Discussion of Hardware and Software issues Subject: Re: [dba-Tech] hd partition utility Try http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/diskdirector/ you can download a trial version. I haven't used it so far but I use their backup program TRUEIMAGE which is perfect. There are lots of horror stories out there about v8. No thanks. There are horror stories about some of the other leading (in terms of downloads at cnet) partition managers too. Does anyone know a reliable partition manager that can handle 250G HDs, multiple partitions &c?
