[dba-Tech] hd partition utility

Hi Lembit:

I am sure by now it has been described but the issue is when you as the IT
guy are doing a large roll-out, of say 50 stations, from a single image if
the systems sees every new station as the same computer it will not be able
to identify one from the other. In many cases a site license can have a
couple hundred possible SIDs but only one image. Some of the image backup
programs, like Norton's Ghost, will allow you to enter a list of IDs on the
host image computer and the app will automatically assign a different ID per
station as the roll-out proceeds.
