Yes, Outlook (from 2003) onwards is "clever"... If you have add-ins and things like that and Outlook crashes, it'll disable them for you, and not necessarily tell you. There should be a form in Help, About, Disabled Items, and you select the ones you want to re-enable, and press ok... Job done.
