Hi Susan 1. Wonder where you read that? I just mounted 2 GB in my old IntelliStation where 1 GB wasn't enough to run Visual Studio. You may have less than that if your graphics adapter uses "shared" ram (= consumes from the normal ram). I have a high-end graphics adapter with its own ram so Windows XP sees both my 2 GB. 2.
