[dba-Tech] network normal usage -- software for watching?

Knowing your system's normal bandwidth usage and watching for discrepancies 
is routine maintenance, but checking logs can be time-consuming, especially 
if you administer more than one system. Is there software to help --  
something that will alert you to unusual usage patterns?
