Arthur, I have been running Vista Bus for a while and have never seen this behavior. Here are a few pages that show how to edit the registry to remove unwanted items: http://www.technixupdate.com/addremove-program-cleaner-remove-invalid-entrie s-from-add-remove-program-list/ http://mintywhite.com/tech/xp/remove-entries-from-the-addremove-programs-lis t/ http://windowsxp.mvps.org/AddRemove.htm (should work with Vista also) Bobby -----Original Message----- From: dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of Arthur Fuller Sent: Sunday, January 18, 2009 1:26 PM To: Discussion of Hardware and Software issues Subject: [dba-Tech] Un-Install I am using Vista. When I un-install a program, it manages to remain in the list of programs to un-install. Is there a way to clean up the list so it reflects only the programs which have been successfully installed?
