They should work as well as a desktop/notebook PC with the similar specs. All of the netbooks I have been exposed to run XP. Even though they have limits, it would make sense to me, that with the right connections, a user could still access everything they need remotely -- the netbook might perform slowly, but if you're using remote resources rather than the netbook itself, it should work.
