Hi Gustav: Wow that looks really neat and I will put aside some time to play with it. The two thoughts I do have are one, it is still very proprietary, as it appears to only work optimally between other Opera browsers and two, unless I missed something, it does not work like Emule or BitTorrent as they use distributive technology to move files very quickly across the web. But I like the streaming technology that it uses and would be interested in seeing if a package like Opera Unite could actually be used to make a desktop computer work like a streaming server. This Web server allows the user to install services and share these services with their friends and colleagues (or everyone, if they wish). The interaction is all done via a central Opera Unite server * Opera Unite uses a proxy between the server and its clients (found at operaunite.com) to avoid the need for any special firewall configuration. </quote> /gustav _______________________________________________ dba-Tech mailing list dba-Tech at databaseadvisors.com http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/dba-tech Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com
