Hi All:

I have solved the problem using a program called Tame
(http://www.tamedos.com/docs/v50/support.html) It has a series of settings
that manage MS TermServer issues with running pure 16 bit applications...
Cytrix already has similar features already built into their 'TermServer'
product so they can run legacy apps.

Hi All:

Has anyone ran across the 'ntvdm encountered a hard error' when connecting
into a 16 bit application through a remote session.

This issue seems to be the same regardless of the remote connection and on
which computer the connection takes place. The application in question runs
just fine on all computers when running the programs directly so the
problems are through the MS remote connection (Trem/Cytrix server).

There are a number of small apps out there that promise to resolve the error
but it has been difficult to find any confirmation that these programs
actually work.

Has any one else ran across the problem?
