Well it says "that this effect could be exploited to propel an initially
stationary mass to a good fraction of the speed of light."  So the answer to
your question is No. A fraction of the speed of light is not greater than
the SOL.

It seems like the only person using the SF term "Hyperdrive" is the blogger.
