It's probably to do with using RAID or scalability of sizes etc... Most home users aren't going to be backing up several Terabyte RAID arrays, where as companies may well do.

Well, that's a good question.  Apparently there *IS* a difference.  Casper and Acronis sell versions specifically for servers.
