[dba-Tech] Dual boot Windows 7 and Linux

I'm considering setting up my Windows 7 box to dual-boot, the other boot
being LinuxMint 11. But last time I tried to do it, using Ubuntu, something
seriously screwed up and I ended up having to re-install Windows 7, so I'm
trepidatious to say the least. Does anyone have a successful Windows 7
dual-boot? The reason I want that setup is so that when running Linux, I can
run the 64-bit version. I tried setting up LinuxMint as a 32-bit VM but
something went haywire, hard to say what, since I have an Ubuntu VM that
runs just fine. Weird.
