Hi Mark: I am not sure whether that time schedule is too long. Google is actively pursuing the roll out of entire lines of super thin laptop computers with Chrome OS and renting at $28.00 a month. TechRepublic just posted such an article and asking the all important questions: http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/hiner/while-it-pros-scoff-google-chromebook s-will-likely-seduce-businesses/8310?tag=nl.e101 The computers will not be for the techs or heavy users but for the 75 percent of the office workers that just do the basics, email, office etc. For us techs who make a living at roll-outs it may suggest lean picking in that area. I would recommend web based applications for the next hot set of requirements for the Chrome OS cloud world. I could believe that within 5 years, most houses would be more than happy to have a linux or Chrome based PC for home use, and that we will all use google docs or something similar?
