Don't worry Arthur we still have a few years before we are obsolete. ;-) I personally plan to keep working until no one else is working and then I can comfortable retire knowing I have done my job. I am sure, by that time there will be plenty of interment camps for all those displaced. ;-) Jim -----Original Message----- From: dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of Arthur Fuller Sent: Sunday, September 18, 2011 7:11 AM To: Discussion of Hardware and Software issues Subject: Re: [dba-Tech] Windows 8 Developer Preview All points taken, but the real test is deciphering the handwriting of physicians! However, that test appears obsolete, at least in this province of Canada. My physician gave me a printout not a handwritten note. Perhaps they too have been compromised by the data-world-machine-eating-everything insane robotic culture. Pretty soon a robot will be examining me, not a very lovely Cantonese-speaking (sadly, married) woman. Perhaps robots can learn Cantonese more quickly than I. That would really make me feel worthless. I've been trying for a couple of years; please don't tell me that a robot can learn in six weeks! Help! The robots are coming! What is this poor boy to do? Perhaps negotiate. We are the Palestinians and the robots are Israel: is there any chance for the Gaza strip? Yikes, I don't like these analogies!
