No, Jim, at least not for the immediate picture. It's got lots of cameras and sensors and it recognizes stop signs and traffic lights, and the cameras provide 360 degree "vision" so it checks both ways before proceeding from a stop sign, and of course it can park itself, is aware of vehicles all around it and so on. Now the objective test would be to compare the accident rate of a driverless car with that of your average car piloted by a DUI. A.
