I'm using Adblock Plus on Firefox and it's always worked well but lately seems not to be. Do you know of something I can do with Firefox - a similar add-on perhaps. I've tried clicking the "remove this kind of add" sometimes offered by Google, but that just tells the Googs that I've seen this add - so it will pop up forever and ever. Very clever. Due to the much discussion on privacy following Mr. Snowden's doings, I decided as a first step to check out IE10's Tracking Protection. It is a snap to turn on, zero installation, and zero cost. It works but - much to my surprise - it also removes a lot of adds. The local newspaper sites and ComputerWorld is now readable without adds filling half the screen, and pages load much quicker. What a relief! /gustav _______________________________________________ dba-Tech mailing list dba-Tech at databaseadvisors.com http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/dba-tech Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com
