I found the advice to use CTRL+FN+NUMLOCK as CTRL+BREAK.  The 
explanation is that the key combo is CTRL+FN+SCROLL-LOCK, and that 
SCROLL-LOCK and NUMLOCK share the same key.

So, I'm going to put both of these tidbits of information in my "how to" 
book for future reference, and I'll let you know how well this worked 
the next time I need to interrupt a tediously long or infinitely looping 
query.
