[dba-Tech] QuickSet.Exe?

Maybe something by Dell to do with power settings, and maybe other Control Panel settings?

Lately I'm getting an error on startup in Windows 8 which says "QuickSet has stopped working; close and check for an
on-line fix, close", etc. I don't even know what QuickSet is or what it is failing to do. I just click "Close" and the
startup proceeds apparently normally.

Anyone know what QuickSet is and what it allegedly does?
