[dba-Tech] The dark side of programming craftmanship

Speaking of PHP and good code, for all those interested in PHP, let me
point you to our code called TheUsual.php, downloadable free from our site (
artfulsoftware.com). I can call it good code without self-aggrandizement
since it was written by my long-time partner, Peter Brawley.

Why is it called TheUsual, one might ask. Well, because it does all the
usual things (it's named after visiting a favourite restaurant and ordering
The Usual): browse, add, edit, delete, search, query, filter, etc., plus a
few unusual things: automatic customization of the search menu according to
the defined index keys, automatic master-detail forms based on defined
relationships, creation of saved queries, and a few other niceties.
