Aha! On the Previous Versions tab there'a a list of folder versions. There are 2 a day, 3 minutes apartwhen they are made is not so obvious. One day, it versioned at 8:58am and 9:01am -- three minutes apart. The previous day's version times were 5:29pm and 7:38pm. A non-obvious pattern. Maybe it's driven by activity? Just a guess. Is this even what we're talking about or is this something else? I'm going to keep exploring.
