[dba-Tech] How to work with Windows8

This is useful to someone who is forced to use Win8 now. But, serious question, doesn't messing with the defaults like this lead to a messy system? It has the potential to make the system like stable and, whenever Microsoft pushes out an update (minor or major, like a service pack), it could also lead to breakage?
