[dba-Tech] XP or Windows 8

There has been many comments on whether to move your desktop OS PC and if to
move, where. 

I am out of the big business end of my computing career and have moved into
my unretired phase but as friends and relatives are still pounding away,
there is a consensus forming. TechRepublic has posted an article that seems
to summarize much the feelings of upgrading to Windows8.
