As all new OSs are prone to crashes, Windows 8 is no exception, in fact it is still pretty beta as far as my early adopter friends suggest. Here is an article that gives some insight into finding and fixing the occasional blue screen unhappy face display; other than replacing the unhappy face with a happy one. http://www.networkworld.com/reviews/2013/041513-windows8-crash-268274.html Aside: the next SP is on its way as early as this month, or as late as August and it may be called Windows9 or Windows Blue. If the next installment is called Windows 9 then Windows 8 will be the shortest surviving product in Microsoft's history, beating out WindowsMe, which does suggest something.??? Let us hope that Microsoft has realized their error at presuming the public's tolerance to product change and the new version will be very attractive, functional and user friendly. http://www.techradar.com/news/software/operating-systems/windows-9-release-d ate-news-and-rumours-1029245 Some good news is that the new OS may allow virtual drives to be moved anywhere, while still live and one possible piece of bad news, that was reported, is that only the IE browser and the Bing search engine will be able to operate on the new platform(s).
