Even with all the body blows, that Microsoft has endured recently, they are
hardly throwing in the towel. 

Microsoft may be bent but they are not broken or should I say broke. In
order to make their Windows8 platform more appealing they may just buy Nook
media and build that feature into their OS. (Getting exclusive rights to
this new feature may just cost a cool billion...not really expensive but a
billion here and a billion there and pretty soon it starts adding up to real
money.)
