Maybe you've lost touch with ordinary users? We are talking about users whose only means of remembering keyboard shortcuts and passwords is if its written down on a post it note and stuck to their screen. They didn't ask for this change and its totally understandable that they are frustrated that it is forced upon them.

To be honest, this is exactly what I expected to happen the minute i tried the win8 release candidate. If it was frustrating for even a tech person like myself, it was bound to be a disaster.
