Hi All:

The NSA should be thanked for their actions which have made everyone aware of their personal privacy and how important it is to be protect.

A few new changes have been made in an effort to protect citizens and new applications made available for the same.

Google has now announced that from all external servers, those in receipt of world internet traffic, the server traffic will all be AES encrypted. A good start for sure.

Next, Google has announced a new application that can be added to their Chrome browser, that will allow any internet user to encrypt and communicate P2P between each other. Unlike the current version of TOR there will be no external servers so unless either the sending and receiving stations have been compromised privacy can be guaranteed.

Next, BlackBerry has released BBM, AES encrypted social networking application, the app that was banned by China, for free to anyone and redesigned it to run on all mobile platforms. Judging, by the huge response this development couldn't have happened soon enough.

I am sure there are many more positive developments on the horizon.
