Hi Gustav: I was hoping it was exposing the entire VS 2003...too bad. Now a days, being semi-retired it is impossible to justify putting out a major investments unless there is a clear path to recuperating the costs. Microsoft has to move quick now, as well, as they were in semi-retirement mode too, for the last eight to nine years. This surge is a good thing for the market as everything will be re-energized... it could not happen soon enough. But so clever it seems! In fact, it is a bit scaring how fast Microsoft moves these years. /gustav >>> accessd at shaw.ca 15-11-13 19:27 >>> Hi All: It seems that Microsoft will be launching a full(?) version of Visual Studio 2013 on the Cloud (Azure). This may be a welcomed addition as development work may be less expensive for those not willing to pay the full price, up front or only need access from time to time, of the professional edition. http://blogs.msdn.com/b/somasegar/archive/2013/11/13/visual-studio-2013-launch-announcing-visual-studio-online.aspx Jim _______________________________________________ dba-Tech mailing list dba-Tech at databaseadvisors.com http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/dba-tech Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com
