Hi Arthur You could try moving the receiver to another USB-port. This alerts Windows that something is going on ... "I better check for some new hardware". /gustav -----Oprindelig meddelelse----- Fra: dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:dba-tech-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] På vegne af Arthur Fuller Sendt: 19. november 2013 20:40 Til: Discussion of Hardware and Software issues Emne: [dba-Tech] Wireless keyboard and mouse for Dell Laptop I just bought an HP wireless keyboard and mouse package for my Dell Inspiron laptop, but the Dell doesn't seem to recognize their presence. I'm running Windows 8.1. Anybody got an Inspiron laptop? I've looked around the settings and stuff but I can't seem to locate a setting to wake up the wireless keyboard and mouse. Any suggestions, anyone? TIA, -- Arthur
